Omega-3 can help recovery from depression

Omega-3 can help recovery from depression

Researchers have brought together results from 40 international studies on the benefits of taking omega-3 supplements for treating depression. Whilst not a treatment for depression, taking an adequate dose seems to improve the chance of recovery.

They looked at other nutrional supplements too, which also help in depression, and omega-3 came out as the most effective.

It is important to still consult with your doctor or psychiatrist and not stop the treatments that you are taking for depression.
